There are three Council Committees which look after some important elements of what the Council does:
Finance & Property: makes recommendations to the Council on financial & property issues and ensures Financial Regulations are complied with.
Planning: comments on all TDC planning applications affecting Brightlingsea.
Staff: responsible for BTC staffing and personnel.
You can find out more about each of these Committees and the Councillors who sit on them on the relevant pages above.
Just like with the Full Council meetings, members of the public are welcomed at any of these Committee meetings, and minutes & agendas can also be found on each Committee’s page on this website.
