Whatever you want to talk to us about, we try to make it as easy as possible for you to get in touch.
Town Council staff work usual office hours and we try to respond as quickly as possible.
We know it can be confusing when working out who to talk to about a particular issue you may have (whether that’s Brightlingsea Town Council, Tendring District Council or Essex County Council, or a different organisation) but feel free to use us as a start point – if we cannot help you directly we should know who you need to talk to, or might be able to do it on your behalf.
Use the form at the bottom of this page (link) to send a message or question directly to the Town Council Offices.
You can call the office on 01206 303535, the line is staffed during usual office hours 9am to 5pm.
You can write to the Council at the following address:
Brightlingsea Town Council The Parish Hall Victoria Place Brightlingsea Essex CO7 0BP
You can visit the Town Council office at the above address, but please note the office is only open 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
The Council does not currently have any social media accounts, but we will be changing this in the coming months (and details will be posted here).
Contact a Councillor
You can always contact a Councillor directly using their contact details on the Councillors & Staff page here.
You can also use the Committees and CCCs pages to email relevant Councillors about particular issues you may have.
If you feel strongly about something, please get in touch with us or one of the Councillors, we would much rather know about the issue as it may be fixable relatively easily, or at least we can start the process of fixing it should it be a more complicated problem.
Please don’t wait for somebody else to do something about it, and please don’t just post something on social media thinking someone from the Council will pick it up – drop us a line so you know for sure it gets on to our list of things to do.
Freedom Of Information
You can request information from the Council under the Freedom of Information Act, please use this .gov.uk link to find out more.
