Brightlingsea Town Council provides some of the local services we all use around town in our day to day lives, but others are provided by Tendring District Council, Essex County Council and even national government.
In this section we’ll try to explain who is responsible for what (the services are listed A-Z below), and provide you with a link to the relevant organisation’s page on their website. If you think we are missing anything obvious on here, please drop us an email here.
Don’t forget, the Town Council currently has three District Councillors on it and our County Councillor comes to every full council meeting, so even if the Town Council isn’t responsible for the service you have in mind, we might be a good starting point and should be able to point you in the right direction (as ever, please get in touch with the Town Clerk if you need help).
