After undertaking an analysis of pinch points and speeding hot spots around the town, Brightlingsea Town Council have launched a traffic calming initiative in collaboration with Town & Country Estate Agents.
The first phase of the project is now under way at the Old Forge, at the top of Ladysmith Avenue and Spring Chase. The initiative includes the installation of “20’s Plenty Where People Are”. This is a great example of a local partnership in action, by working with Town & Country we are not only addressing a key safety concern but also showing how businesses and the Council can collaborate for the good of the community.
